Making Nut Milk (Mylk)
Made with a super high speed blender (mine is LADYSHIP ORGANIC ESSENCE EXTRACTOR which has a filter and tap to dispense liquid- see my YouTube channel)
Nuts 1 cup
Alkalized filtered Water 4 cups
• Soak nuts 4-6 hours is best or even overnight
• Once soaked, rinse nuts and add fresh water then mix nuts and water in high powered Ladyship. Use Filter 1
• Makes 1 litre.
• Lasts up to 3 days in fridge
For sweeter taste add some pre-soaked dates or rice syrup or honey
You can use more or less water to vary the thickness of your raw nut milk, depending on your personal preference, but in general, you want a 1:4 ratio of cashews to water. Experiment.
If you don’t have a filter on your blender, then you can use a fine mesh nut milk bag to strain.
If you don’t have a strainer then using whole nuts for milk is great.
Sometimes I call Nut Milk, Nut Mylk.
